Online collections
The Pisces Collection at the Staatssammlung für Anthropologie und Paläoanatomie München” is work in progress and part of the DFG funded IDES project with the general aim to make the fish collections of the Staatliche Naturwissenschaftliche Sammlungen Bayerns accessible via internet through national and international portals. The data project uses Diversity Workbench components, the taxonomy and nomenclature follows the Catalogue of Life. Data mobilisation and digitalisation efforts were mainly done by Dr. Henriette Obermaier (curator until 2019) as well as Christian Eichfelder, Elke Ingwersen and Florian Weller (all three temporary staff). Technical support is provided by the IT Center of the Staatliche Naturwissenschaftliche Sammlungen Bayerns.
The Mammal and Fish Collections are online availiable.
